I experienced a crazy influx of creative energy last night! I’m in the process of working on a new series of collages and I’ll be periodically sharing images throughout the next few weeks.

I feel the need to really document the steps I go through when making this work. Collaging is like a creative exercise for me. It helps to bring out themes from my subconscious I believe. I have so much on my mind lately as I truly believe we are living in extraordinary times! I’m hoping that this new work reflects that.

Please feel free to share any thoughts or insights that you may have about the work as I continue to post. Any comments or questions you may have are more than welcome.

I’ve been wanting to start a series of exploratory photographs for some time now. I think this will be the first of the bunch. 

I took this photo while on set for a video shoot with Deep Cotton of the Wondaland Arts Society. I believe it was the blending of nature and the man made that really struck me with this. They became one.
